All calm on the western front

Thank you to everyone who has sent their concern about the feather incident. On Thursday I was entertaining the family on a wonderful mackerel fishing trip, with the lovely Bryn, who showed us all the sights on the Menai Straits.Meanwhile, the builder was starting work on the lodge roof. He brought his small dog, Paul heard a strange noise, saw feathers all over the lawn, and in the dogs mouth. Fearing the worst, he set off searching, and after 10 minutes, found a very scared Columbinas hiding under a bush, lacking most of her tail. Paul looked her over, and saw no blood, so gave her some food, with the other girls. She has been very scared for the last few days, but finally today seems herself again, and even jumped into the pig bucket to steal their food!
