We've had a look around around and there's nowhere really ready for planting veg, the dug over areas are too wet, we need to sort out the drainage on that side of the land. When the pigs come, they will be set to the task of rotorvating the kitchen garden, so we'll put their run near the house, close to the stream.






Meanwhile the fantastic ex-woolies boxes, which transported all our stuff on the Great Trek West have got a new life, as raised beds. Woolworth's demise was such a sad start to the year, its very precious to have a memento (in fact we have spotted lots of ex-Woolworth's stock tucked away at the back of hardware shops, so we can still get our fix).
