Our first Welsh Lesson

We had our first Welsh lesson today, and learnt all about Kate Roberts, the Chekhov of North Wales. She is Rhosgadfan's most famous export. The lesson was conducted climbing a beautiful hill, in blazing sunshine, not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

When we got home, we had a bonfire and tried to make a bakestone like we'd seen in Kate's cottage, but now we know slate cracks under heat !
