Cutting next years firewood this tree was coppices and several shoots will grow backready to be harvested in 10 years time. The wood will be split and seasoned and hopefully keep us warm next winter
just checked in to see how the the menagerie is coping with the cold. Very well by the look of it although the video is all a bit Deliverance - any banjos audible in those woods? How much more fun than sliding down Clapton Road on slightly grubby ice melt
