A sad day, just after we let the chickens out this morning I found Emmeline (one of our ex-bats) lying on the snow looking sad. We took her inside into the warmth and a straw bed but unfortunately she died this afternoon. It was sad but I think she she had a better retirement at Cynlas than her planned one.
